To start a business blog can be quite time-consuming, just the same as to start a website. It does take some time before the search engines can index and rank the site. However, there are a few things by following which you could improve visibility of your blog.

1) The idea to duplicate posts on more than one social media blogs would greatly improve the visibility of your business blog. To come up on these websites would make your blog accessible for various audiences, even those who didn’t have an intention to visit your original blog. In this way you can let your information to reach out to the prospective customers. There’s always a possibility that your business blog is going to be visited by random browsers who are surfing the web and click from one profile to another, seeking for something exciting.

2) The message boards and other established connections can be used for your advantage. With “water cooler” or “open line” sections on forums you will have a chance of posting short summaries and sort of teasers with links to your blog so that new customers can easily reach you out. Besides, people who are already familiar to you from the forum would appreciate the chance to read the information from the first hands and learn from your expertise. But to be able to implement this strategy, firstly get acquainted with the rules of a forum so that you know for definite that it’s not forbidden to use links in your posts. There are forums which nip in the bud business-oriented promotions. Thus, you should abide by the rules.

Basically, you can use both, blogs and forums to improve the visibility of your business blog while you’re still waiting for search engines to do this job for you. People would find it so much easier to find you online if you put a little bit of effort in placing links and publishing posts in various discussion areas mentioned above.
